Gameplay and Video Editor, Squad Busters

We are looking for an experienced Gameplay and Video Editor to join our growing Squad Busters team. You’ll be at the forefront of bringing our game to life for millions of potential players around the world. As a key member of our creative and marketing team, you’ll be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality gameplay footage that showcases the best aspects of our game. This is your chance to work on one of Supercell’s most ambitious projects, crafting jaw-dropping gameplay moments and sequences that will be seen across trailers, social media platforms, advertising campaigns and the App Store. You'll capture and amplify those epic, heart-pounding moments that make players want to dive into Squad Busters' rich gameplay experience — while working with a passionate, creative team across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities 

• Capture and edit gameplay footage and still images for trailers, marketing videos, and app store assets that highlight key game features and create visually compelling player experiences.
• Transform raw gameplay footage into engaging, story-driven videos that connect with players and showcase the action packed quirkiness of Squad Busters.
• Use multiple devices (iOS,Android & PC) to ensure high-quality gameplay captures.
• Lead the entire video production process, from brainstorming and storyboarding to editing and delivering polished content across platforms like AppStore and Social Media (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, our website etc)
• Initiate fresh and creative video concepts to support marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and other content initiatives, keeping the content engaging and relevant to the audience.
• Edit and enhance gameplay videos with sound, transitions, effects, and pacing to create immersive, shareable content that excites players.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including user acquisition, community, and product teams—to brainstorm content ideas and create visual stories that align with marketing and gameplay strategies.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring each video fits the format, style, and messaging needed, whether for short social media clips or polished app store previews.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in gameplay capture, video editing, or a related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video content.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a proven ability to capture polished, high-quality gameplay footage across various devices.
• Expert proficiency with tools like OBS Studio and Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Premiere, and Media Encoder).
• A strong understanding of gameplay mechanics and how to capture the most exciting and relevant moments that resonate with players.
• Proven ability to edit videos quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines, maintaining high quality and attention to detail in every project.
• A collaborative mindset, with experience working across teams (e.g., community, marketing, product) to align content with larger goals and strategies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, streamline workflows, and meet deadlines.

Nice to haves

• Strong graphic design or animation skills, with experience creating visually engaging content for marketing, social media, or in-game assets.
• Affinity for digital trends & memes and ability to apply this seamlessly into your work.
• Experience working with Unreal Engine, particularly for gameplay capture, camera work, or visual effects.
