This role is to support the ongoing learning and development needs of our outsourced global operations for the successful implementation of our customer support strategy. We are now looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager, who will be tasked with driving and coordinating global projects, making sure all player support partners have the training necessary to do a fantastic job.
You will be working as part of the entire Player Experience team, together with the Player Experience Managers, Quality Analysts and Knowledge Management team members. As a team, you will collaborate closely in order to achieve our player support goals.
Responsibilities:
Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement of our players’ experience across all our teams
Assess learner journeys and design learning pathways for individual roles and competencies
Coordinate with key stakeholders in both internal and external teams, identifying opportunities to create and improve impactful learning experiences
Maintain and continually improve a global player support training curriculum for onboarding, up-skilling and other targeted learning needs
Oversee the entire cycle of learning needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a broad range of customer support learning initiatives across different delivery methods (for example remote, classroom, e-learning, micro-learning or blended approaches)
Own the LMS/LXP, maintaining an up-to-date catalog of e-learning
Improve learning effectiveness by managing the LRS, analysing learner performance data to determine effectiveness of instructional methods, courses, and instructional materials, and perform L&D team appraisals, connecting learning to results
Travel to global locations and attend virtual training, in order to support the training teams in implementing best practices
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years experience in a Learning and Development Management role
Minimum 2 years experience in a leading role within the learning and development team, preferably in a customer support environment
Ability to communicate effectively at a high level with other L&D Managers
Experience training and managing trainees in both ILT and VILT environments
Proven understanding of instructional design principles, learning needs analysis processes and training programme evaluation methods.
Experience working with a digital learning platform (LMS/LXP)
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment as well as being an individual contributor
Passion for adult learning and development
Knowledge of and passion for Supercell games and gaming culture
Desirable:
Qualification in related fields or formal certification from CIPD, ATD etc.
Awareness of xAPI for reporting learning experiences
Experience in a supervisory or management role
Experience managing learning in a global multicultural environment
