As the Product Manager, you will be the lead blacksmith equipping us for the challenge as you both create and manage the products that help us ensure stellar resolution and support across Supercell’s games. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and maintain cutting-edge tools and technologies to manage agent tooling, automation, genAI, and much more. This role requires a deep understanding of the customer/player support as well as a wholehearted desire to build and maintain systems that will blow our players’ expectations out of the water.
Key responsibilities
Product Development: lead the development and enhancement of internal and external products related to player support, including agents tools, automations, genAI, and CRM.
Product Ownership: act as the primary owner and advocate for the products you manage, ensuring they meet the needs of the games and contribute to the overall player experience.
Product Strategy: develop and implement strategies to address the most pressing issues players face when playing our games, and work cross-functionally to ensure harmonised solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, player support, and our game teams to prioritize and execute product initiatives.
Product Roadmapping: define and maintain product roadmaps, aligning with the broader goals and objectives of the Player Care Team and Supercell as a whole.
Infrastructural Integrity: partner with engineers to ensure the products within your portfolio integrate seamlessly with each other and with existing infrastructure, creating an elegant and cohesive ecosystem.
Stakeholder Management: effectively communicate product plans, progress, and impact to relevant stakeholders across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: monitor product performance and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to drive ongoing improvements and iterations.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the tech or gaming industry.
Strong understanding of online gaming ecosystems and player behavior, particularly with respect to solving player problems.
Experience creating and owning products.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products.
Experience with managing third-party relationships and partnerships.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Innate interpersonal skills and team-player mentality.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
Passion for gaming and a commitment to creating fair and safe experiences for players.
Nice to haves
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, product management, game design, or similar).
Experience with tools and technologies for high-performance player/customer service.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to player privacy.
Experience working globally and cross-culturally.
Strong empathy and understanding of player needs and concerns.
We are recruiting this role ideally to be based out of our Helsinki HQ but would be open to candidates located in the Sweden, Denmark, UK, Germany and Spain who are open to frequent travel to Helsinki.
