Game Designer / Live Ops Designer, Clash Mini


Are you an experienced Live Ops Designer? We’d love you to join the Clash Mini team! After years of development and we are now reaching a milestone to serve our players in much better ways. 

In this role, your mission is to excite and grow our existing fans’ engagement for many more years to come while also catering to the tastes of new and upcoming Clash Mini players. You'll get to design and operate the game's Live Ops strategy, which allows us to deliver on our bold vision for the game.

We expect you to be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong team player. You take pride in your work and know what it means to take responsibility and deliver quality-focused products. We work as a small team in a dynamic and agile environment – this requires comfort operating in an ambiguous environment where goals and constraints are mostly team driven and where change, big and small, is a critical part of the development process.

Responsibilities

  • Define and operate the Live Ops strategy for Clash Mini, from daily event cadence to bigger seasonal events to drive engagement
  • Design engaging events (including reward strategy)
  • Operate the dailycalendar to optimize pacing and performance
  • Smartly balance the use of existing features and assets vs. creating fresh new mechanics and assets
  • Work together with other team members to drive the live service mindset in the game and ensure tools and features are built with growth and live operations in mind
  • Review the performance of events and initiatives and analyze results together with the data analyst and community manager to iterate and create more engaging experiences with greater impact
  • Help improve metrics around Live Ops by creating new offers that complement events and help optimize shop functionality to better serve player needs

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience operating Live Ops on a mid to large-scale live game with a lot of players
  • A proactive doer. You’re willing to get your hands dirty and have no need to manage or be managed
  • Passionate about mobile games
  • Good spoken and written English skills
