We’re looking for Game Tech Programmers to join the Clash Royale Team!
As a Game Tech Programmer, you bring deep experience with optimizing technical processes, and also value the opportunity to contribute to broader domains. You will collaborate closely with artists, designers, producers and other coders to find the most effective ways to improve the game development process. You will improve the architecture of our systems, tools, and pipelines. This includes designing and refining our frameworks, content delivery systems for live operations, and more.
Working with our engine team, you will help develop any tools and editors required by the game team, as well as providing technical support for incoming changes and updates from central tech teams.

Forward-thinking design and improvement of the architecture and systems
Maintaining, improving and developing game systems and content creation pipelines
Work closely with game team artists, designers, QA and programmers to identify and solve development process issues
Work with the engine and other central tech teams to plan current and future needs for the game team, along with other game tech programmers
Integrate improvements and other changes from central tech to minimize game team disruptions
Become an omniscient code wizard when it comes to Clash Royale's tech
Requirements
4+ years of experience working within game development, on mobile, console, or PC
Strong, professional experience using C++
Understanding game systems design and real time client-server technologies
Comfortable working on an existing code base
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to optimize code for performance
Driven, focused and willing to see projects through delivery
A true desire to help others produce their best work
Nice to Have
Game engine development experience
Communicate well with non-technical team members
Experience in iOS / Android development
Experience maintaining build processes, including Jenkins, CMake, Visual Studio, XCode and advanced source control tools
