We’re looking for a Senior Game Designer to join Clash of Clans, our biggest live game. Although Clash has been out for ten years, we haven’t slowed down in making big, radical updates that change the player experience. We are looking for someone who can take an open-ended question like “how can we help players learn to play better?”, turn that into a collection of design proposals and then work with the team to implement these into impactful, finished features.
Everyone on the Clash team is responsible for figuring out what needs to change to make the game even better. As a Game Designer, you’ll be particularly responsible for helping to weave a coherent plan of action, incorporating feedback from players, creators, the rest of the team, and analytics data. You are passionate about ensuring all the different pieces come together holistically to give players an excellent experience.
We offer you a chance to join a team of professionals where talent feeds talent. We do not believe in bureaucracy or convoluted processes. Game development is a team sport, so we work together to achieve the best results. We trust each other’s skills and value each other’s work. All of us are driven by the amazing opportunity to make a game played by tens of millions of players better and better. If this sounds exciting to you, then you might just be the person we are looking for!
