We are looking for a people-oriented, creative and passionate leader to build and lead our brand new Community Experiences team. The team focuses on experiences for our most passionate and dedicated players, including, but not limited to, all levels of competitive play, live events, and merchandise.
The Community Experience Lead will together with the team work on all Supercell titles to make sure millions of players around the world have the best player and community experience possible, including our esports events for Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars! From building a team to driving great results, this person loves to think outside the box and strategically while getting their hands dirty. Responsibilities
Build and lead the Community Experience team by empowering and enabling teammates to deliver their best work
Develop and execute a clear long-term vision and strategy for the team that aligns with the company goals and targets
Monitor, identify and understand current market trends and sentiment, adapt to new information quickly and continue to aim to be a trendsetter in the community experience space
Together with the team design and set goals and KPIs, analyse community needs and results based on data, and make informed decisions and improvements to the programs to drive business results
Drive and facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and build relationships with Game Teams, the Community team, Business & Operations, Marketing, Entertainment & Partnerships etc.
Manage high-level budgeting and financial prioritisation for the team
Foster a creative and ambitious work environment where team members can thrive and develop, while taking on responsibilities that support the wider team
Be a hands-on leader who is willing to roll up your sleeves and take part in daily tasks as needed
Requirements
10+ years of experience in the community, sports or entertainment field with a proven track record of making a positive impact on the business, organisation and community
5+ years of experience as a great people manager
In-depth understanding of what it takes to build and foster communities, drive positive impact through experiences and how to scale those efforts to drive business growth
Exceptional strategic and leadership skills, while still being a team player
Excellent project management, decision-making and organisational skills
Strong communication skills, and extensive experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, teams and external partners
Growth mindset with a passion for creative problem solving, innovation and making world-class experiences for our community
Strong analytical thinking, flexible, action and results oriented, while not afraid to take calculated risks
