We are looking for a passionate and experienced 3D Character Artist to join our Shanghai Studio.
Your focus will be on developing 3D characters for one of our exciting new projects. You will contribute to building both iconic and new characters in the Clash world. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience creating high-quality 3D characters, from initial concept to in-engine implementation.

As a 3D Character Artist at Supercell, you will collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and artists to create new and satisfying experiences for players. You will take ownership of both in-game aesthetics and high-quality rendering to enrich the player’s immersive experience.

Responsibilities
Create in-game high-quality 3D character assets in multiple LOD versions.
Enhance and advance concept designs by considering technical and design limitations, including polygon budgets and texture memory constraints.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure all assets align with the project's vision.
Work with outsourcing partners to build a stable production pipeline.
Support the UI team in creating high-quality character renderings.
Requirements
Strong experience with 3D software (e.g., Maya, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.).
Experience in creating stylized PBR characters.
Hands-on experience with modern commercial game engines (Unreal Engine preferred).
Experience in rendering high-quality characters with Arnold, Blender, or Marmoset.
Passionate about (mobile) games.
A proactive doer who takes responsibility and pride in their work when given the freedom to work independently.
Strong cross-discipline communication skills.
A great teammate - we believe making games is a team sport.
